Pending World Record Archery Moose

Something in the mountain scenery wasn’t there before. At least, something looked unusual out there as Réal Langlois, the Rack Man, approached the shore of Earn Lake one late-September 2008 evening. He had covered this area hundreds of times before and he knew that those two marks, 150 yards away, were not part of the landscape. The Rack Man’s curiosity has always paid off and he knew that he had to get a closer look at what appeared to be a world-class Yukon moose. Langlois’ life was about to change forever.
Langlois decided to stop the motor of the boat and start calling. There was no wind on that day and the sound travelled easily. The unusual grey blob started moving immediately. From that moment on, nothing could stop the Rack Man from going straight ahead into the bush to meet this animal face-to-face. Feeling an intense surge of adrenalin, Réal and his fellow hunters stepped out of their sixteen-foot aluminium boat and started walking toward the top of the little hill.
